SPC XL 2010 New Serial Number

If you have a serial number in the format ######### (i.e., 9 numeric digits) you can get a new serial number in the form SX-####-######. We have created an online tool that will convert your old serial number to the new format. The process is free and takes only a few seconds.

Step 1:

Find your 9 digit serial number. If you purchased the software online, then the serial number was in the email from Share-It. If you purchased a CD, the serial number is on the back of the case. If you can't find either, then from SPC XL select "SPC XL" - "About" and the serial number should be displayed.

Step 2:

Go to www.spcxl.com\serialnum and enter your information. The system will email you a new serial number and link to obtain the new software. If you do not get an email, please check your junk mail folder. Follow the link in the email and download the setup file to your hard drive.

Step 3:

After you have downloaded the setup file, uninstall the old version of SPC XL. Then install the new version using the setup file and the new serial number in your email.

Can I give my old copy of SPC XL to another user?

No, this is an upgrade, not a free copy. You can upgrade your licensed copy, but that doesn't entitle you to a new free copy.

How long will the upgrade be posted for download?

At this time we plan on leaving the setup file posted through the end of 2010.
