Corrupted Cache Files

Some startup problems for our products could be caused by MS Office corrupted cache files. Those files are not removed when you uninstall MS Office. Files must be found and deleted manually.

Location of the corrupted files:

- for Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[UserName]\Application Data\Microsoft\Forms\

- for Windows Vista or Windows 7 : C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Forms

or C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Forms

Removal procedure:

1. Close all MS Office applications.

2. Find and remove files with *.EXD extension (Refedit.EXD, MSComctlLib.exd, …).

3. Start SigmaZone.com add-in (SPC XL, Quantum XL, DOE PRO XL, DFSS Master, …).
